Session for all ministers: Lectors, Hospitality (Ushers) and Holy Communion
Our Church has been blessed with different ministries. In this session, we will discuss the Theology of Ministry, the qualities of the minister, the vocation to service by virtue of Baptism, the challenges, and responsibilities that come with responding to this call.
Workshop B
Dedicated Session by Ministry – Part I
Proclaimer of the Word (Reader):
What is the role and responsibility of the Proclaimer of the Word? This session will focus and delve into the role and responsibilities based on Church documents. We will discuss current issues and challenges of the Proclaimer and practical tips to be a good Proclaimer of the Word.
The Ministry of Hospitality (Usher):
How important is hospitality in the church and in our daily lives? What qualities does this great ministry require of us? Come explore and receive recommendations and advice to develop and nurture this beautiful and important ministry.
The Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion:
This theme is designed for ministers of Holy Communion. We will deepen on the correct function of the ministry based on the documents and liturgical norms, on the challenges that exist in our parishes. We will give practical advice for the proper performance of this important ministry.
